The January Sales extend to restaurants.
So It’s welcome to the New Year.
Edinburgh has once again excelled itself in being one of the best places in the world for seeing in the New year.
Now as we all head back to work we need to find things to cheer ourselves up.
As we have a large number of restaurants in Edinburgh they are all vying for our business so there are some good deals out there.
On 5pm.co.uk they have a £12 two course deal at a large number of restaurants around Edinburgh for Lunch or pre theatre.
Le di Vin in Randolph Place, mid week, offer a free cheese or charcuterie platter when you buy a bottle of wine.
La Favorita are offering 50% off main courses Sunday to Friday when quoting JS19 (have to reserve a table in advance to get this offer)
The Outsider on George IV Bridge always have a great lunch menu throughout the year so worth a visit and if you are lucky enough to get a window table at the back of the restaurant a great view as well.
Copper Blossom in Castle street are offering 50% off Mains (Mon to Fri) on booking site Opentable
Makar Gourmet Mash bar mid week are offering a complimentary drink with any main ordered.
If you like Oysters the White Horse on the Royal Mile are offering a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival.
A couple of great exhibitions on in Edinburgh at moment and both are free. At the Portrait Gallery is the BP Portrait awards 2018 until 10th March open 10-5pm. At the City Art Centre in Market st are Photos of Edinburgh in the 1960’s and 70’s taken by a medical student studying in Edinburgh during that period called Robert Blomfield until 17th March 10-5pm. Another reason to visit the City Art Centre is Mimi’s Bakehouse have a pop up cafe there.
