Eat walk Edinburgh offer a Old and New Town food walking tour. The food & drink tour stops at a minimum of five venues that are selected from the Edinburgh food tour venues below.

Tasting locally sourced Scottish food with three of the stops also having drink tastings.

The local guide will talk about the history of the area as the tour walks between venues.

 The Gaelic word for whisky is Usquabae. The English translation is water of life. Usquabae is a basement bar in the West End of Princes Street. With a great range of Scottish beers and whisky on offer. We stop here for cheese and beer or whisky and haggis tastings.

The Radisosn Blu is one of the hotels we start our tour from offering a central location for people to meet their guide. From the outside the building looks like it has been on the Royal Mile for over a hundred years when in fact it was only built in the late 1990s.

Scotch Malt Whisky Society

28 Queen Street is a beautifully restored Georgian townhouse. The Scotch Malt Whisky Society only ever bottle from a single cask. This is selected from a range of over 120 whisky distilleries. Every Society whisky bottling is exceptional. This is a Private club so those on the tour enjoy exclusive access to this fine premises. 
Recentlly they have opened a ground floor bar to the public.

Situated in a stunning old department store building. The Brasserie menu offers a a mouth watering selection of locally sourced Scottish dishes. On the 1st Wednesday of every month, they have a vegan night.

The latest addition to our Edinburgh food tour venues is Scott’s Kitchen.

Sitting above Victoria st. The outside seating area is great in the Summer.

Open mainly for breakfast or lucnh. It is a great place to stop for a bite to eat while visiting the Royal Mile.
